On 12 September 2018, Liburnija d.o.o has introduced the possibility of travel ticket payment via the Smartica mobile application.
This application can be used for purchase, activation and validation of digital travel tickets developed by Vipnet in partnership with Trilix. Thanks to the cooperation with Liburnija d.o.o. it can be used for public transport services in Zadar.
SMARTICA users have the opportunity to buy:
- one ticket for one trip in the amount of HRK 10.00 (lasting up to 50 minutes),
- two tickets for two trips in the amount of HRK 16.00 (each with a duration of up to 50 minutes).
In addition to public transport, it is also possible to purchase a travel ticket on the route Zadar–Airport and Airport–Zadar at a price of HRK 25.00.
You can download the application free of charge from Apple Store and Google Play, and it is supported by all telecom operators.
When purchasing a digital ticket within the application, the user receives a payment confirmation via SMS with all the information on the amount charged. The ticket remains stored in the application and upon entering the vehicle, the user activates it by using the designated validators. For users with a contractual obligation, the purchased content will be charged on a monthly invoice, and for voucher users, the purchase amount will be deducted immediately from the invoice. All purchased and activated tickets are available to the user in the application at any time.
